Our Story
Veritas Foundation was established in 1997 in Sighisoara, Romania, with a clear mission: to offer social support and a helping hand to the most vulnerable members of our community. For over 27 years, we have grown from a small initiative into a respected non-governmental organization running four major social programs.
Our name, "Veritas" — meaning "truth" in Latin — reflects our commitment to transparency, integrity, and genuine care for every person who walks through our doors.
